Students of international schools, whether private or government official schools affiliated with the Ministry of Education, will start the new school year on Sunday, September 18, and the ministry stressed the need to adhere to the regulations of the school year related to saluting the flag and chanting the national anthem, as well as adherence to the school fees specified by the ministry and teaching national identity curricula.

As for students of private and public schools, the school year begins on October 1, where the Ministry of Education and Technical Education says that the school year begins according to the following regulations:

– The new academic year begins on Saturday, October 1, 2023, until Thursday, June 6, 2023, for all stages of education in public and official schools in languages, private and private languages.

The new academic year for international school students begins on September 18, 2022.

The duration of the new academic year is approximately 35 academic weeks.

The first semester starts October 1, 2022 to Thursday, January 26, 2023.

The start of the first semester exams on Sunday, January 14, 2023.

The second semester begins on Saturday, February 11, 2023, to Thursday, June 8.

The start of the second semester exams for the transport and preparatory certificate classes, Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Technical diploma exams start on Saturday, July 8, 2023.

High school exams start Saturday, June 10, 2023.

The duration of the first semester days is 98 days after deleting Fridays and the official holiday.

The duration of the days of the second semester is 96 days after deleting Fridays and the official holiday.

The actual study days are 194 days, which is equivalent to 35 weeks.

The examination period for the first and second semesters is considered within the actual study days and is calculated within the legally stipulated attendance rate.
