Egypt news | Science and Technology / WhatsApp introduces a new design for iPhone users.. What are the changes and when will you get them?

WhatsApp has started rolling out a new design for Apple iPhone users. The Facebook-owned platform has been testing a new user interface (UI) for contact and group information for some time now. The user interface was already seen in the previous beta update for iPhone devices. If you remember, WhatsApp rolled out a similar user interface to the Contact for Business Information section in a previous update.

What are the changes in the new user interface

With the new user interface, iPhone users will be able to see a round view of a group or contact when they head to the info section, and users will also be able to see the number of participants right below the group name on the info page.

Apart from this, a new “Search” shortcut button can also be seen next to the video call option, and the search shortcut will allow users to search for a specific message in an individual chat or group chat. The only difference between the business information section and the contact information section is to see status updates, and for those who don’t know, you can view the status updates that companies share in the information section, however, you cannot do the same in the contact information section.

When will you be able to see the new design?

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has enabled the new user interface for contact information, work information and group information for a large number of people, and if your new redesign is not enabled, this should be available within 24 hours to all beta testers after installing the latest update TestFlight is beta, and should be available soon for people using stable versions of the App Store. WhatsApp is also working on a new group voice calling interface for iOS users. References to the design change have already been found in previous beta updates for iOS and Android users.
