Al-Marsad Newspaper: Investigations into the accusation of the Egyptian actress, Menna Shalaby, revealed that the drugs seized in her possession were intended for abuse, not trafficking.
Menna Shalaby admitted to the investigation authorities that she only smoked vape and did not use any narcotic substances.
The accused collapsed in front of the investigation authorities, confirming that she had traveled to the UAE because of a new movie showing her. She also explained that she had traveled to Greece because of her birthday, and that she had traveled to Saudi Arabia because of the Hajj. According to Cairo 24.
The investigation authorities asked the accused about their connection to these seized materials, and they replied, “I don’t know anything about them other than a box of green makeup and the cigarettes that I had with me were not the ones that were exposed to me now, and they tasted like berries.”
The Cairo Court of Appeal, a member of the Supreme Judicial Council, set a session for next January 5, to start the trial of the actress, Menna Shalaby, before the North Cairo Criminal Court, in the case of accusing her of obtaining the essence of narcotic hashish with the intention of using.
