Al-Marsad newspaper: The Israeli ambassador to Egypt, Amira Oron, sent a letter to the Egyptian Ministry of Religious Endowments to translate the entire interpretation of the Noble Qur’an into Hebrew.
Oron said, according to the Israeli media: “I congratulate this valuable and blessed initiative. For the first time, we can read the interpretation of the Qur’an in the Hebrew language, which was supervised and presented by the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments and a group of the best scholars and translators in Egypt.”
The Ambassador of Tel Aviv added that this translation will contribute to increasing knowledge, understanding and creative acquaintance between peoples, saying: “We congratulate everyone who participated in issuing this work into effect.”
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs affiliated to the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf announced several days ago the issuance of a translation of the interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur’an into Hebrew for the first time in Egypt.
