Egypt’s futsal team lost to its counterpart, Kuwait, 6-2, in the match that brought them together this evening, Tuesday, in the framework of the quarter-final round of the Arab Futsal Championship, which is currently being held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
With this loss, the Egyptian national team bid farewell to the Arab Championship competitions from the quarter-finals, and the Kuwait national team qualified for the semi-finals, to accompany “Morocco and Libya”, awaiting the outcome of the last meeting in the quarter-finals between the teams of Algeria and Iraq.
The goals of the Egyptian national team were scored by Mustafa Khalaf, while the goals of the Kuwait national team were scored by “Badr Al-Mansour (two goals), Omar Al-Shatti, Abdul Rahman Al-Taweel, Suleiman Al-Omran and Abdul-Latif Al-Abbasi.”
The Egyptian national team had qualified for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup, after defeating the national teams of Mauritania and Palestine, and a draw with the Iraqi national team, to top the third group.
