Egypt’s handball team defeats Belgium 33/28 in the World Championship

Egypt’s men’s handball team defeated its Belgian counterpart, 33/28, in its first match in the main round of the World Championship held in Poland and Sweden, which will continue until January 29.

The first half of the match ended with a score of 15/22 in favor of the national team, in a half that witnessed the brilliance of goalkeeper Karim Hindawy and the players Yahya Al-Deraa and Mohamed Sanad.

The handball team succeeded in continuing its brilliance in the second half, to collect the meeting points in the kick-off of the main role to gain confidence.

The handball team is scheduled to meet Bahrain on Saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon in the second meeting of this role, and finally Denmark on Monday at 9:30 in the evening.

The Egyptian national team was able to qualify for the main round of the World Handball Championship held in Poland and Sweden, achieving the full mark in the first round, by defeating Croatia, Morocco and the United States of America.

And the Spanish technical director of the Pharaohs, Roberto Barondo Garcia, succeeded in grinning his fangs at the kick-off in the first round to get a morale boost that gives confidence to the players.

The handball team went to Sweden last Wednesday, coming from the French camp, which witnessed a friendly victory over the Czech Republic and a loss to the owner of the land by a goal difference.
