Doha: Banks resume operations in Qatar after Eid holiday Banks and financial institutions have resumed operations after a 3-day holiday. Meanwhile, Electronic Check Conversion (ECC) services were provided to customers on holidays and in all banks.

Earlier, Qatar had directed banks in the country to provide money transfer facilities every day of the week, including weekends. Qatar proposed to provide local level transfer services.
Qatar Central Bank has issued an instruction in this regard. The authorities have directed that customers are provided with local level money transfer services throughout the week including weekends. The new decision is aimed at further improving the services provided by banks and financial institutions to the customers.
