Since the release of FromSoftware’s latest title, players who are fans of modding try to renew the experience in order to bring Elden Ring off the beaten track. If some creations are more amusing than revolutionary – especially those that bring characters from a completely different universe such as Geralt de Riv de The Witcher 3 —, others are really worth a look. Difficult to count all the mods available on the NexusMods site, but some stand out without much effort.
In our columns, we have mentioned, for example, the development of a virtual reality mod which puts you directly in the shoes of your Shinless to be closer to the biomes you explore… but also to the terrible creatures that roost there. Or a mod that finally allows you to complete your quest to become a Lord of Elden in the company of two to four allies ! This surprising creation, we owe it to modder Matt Gruen who recently promoted it on his Twitter account. Some time ago, in April, he announced that he was working on a mod which is now fully completed and available. For those wondering, This is the ‘Item and Enemy Randomizer’ mod, and as the name suggests, it allows you to totally change the layout of the game, specifically enemies, bosses, and key items, for an adventure that leaves you without landmarks !
Elden Ring Enemy Randomizer is feature-complete for its first release, though it has many more fixes and features to go. You can customize it to create many different kinds of fun runs. Or you could choose to do… this. (late game boss spoilers)

Like what, and this, thanks to the mods, it is possible to be still surprised by Elden Ring, even three months after its release! Fixes and new features will be implemented in the future, but the mod itself is already doing wonders. Through the process of randomization, the result is what Matt Gruen shows us through his message posted on Twitter, namely unlikely random situationslike this army of Malenia, one of the most complicated bosses in the game, encountered from the first biome!
