Lucknow: Three persons, including a twelve-year-old boy, have been arrested in connection with the murder of an elderly couple during a robbery in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad. The police also informed that the main accused in the case is the twelve-year-old who is the mastermind of the robbery and murder. Besides the 12-year-old, his accomplices Manjesh and Shivam were also arrested.
On November 22, Ibrahi (60), an agricultural trader, and his wife Hazra were found murdered in their house in Ghaziabad. Ibrahim’s body was found inside the house and that of his wife near the toilet in the empty field. Cloth was wrapped around their necks.
The initial conclusion of the police is that the robbery was planned by a twelve-year-old boy who knew the couple earlier. The twelve-year-old knew that Ibrahim had made a lot of money from selling land. He took all three people with him for the robbery. But the robbery attempt ended in murder.
The police had initially found that the two were killed during the robbery. The accused were arrested during further investigation. The police said that the fourth accused named Sandeep is absconding and the search for him is on. Police recovered Rs 12,000, a mobile phone and a gold necklace from the accused.
