Gustavo Sáenz was re-elected in Salta with 47% of the votes. This opposition group is made up of the parties Ahora Patria; If-Jump Independent; United Popular Movement; Victory Party; Party of Culture, Education and Work, and Salta Somos Todos, in addition to various municipal groups. Popular Unity ran with Ramiro Escorotin for governor and Patricia Del Valle Caliva for vice, who achieved 1% of the vote. The Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) nominated Marcos Tognolini and Mirta Ramos received 0.7% of the vote.

The Workers Party for Socialism went to the polls with the former constituent Daniela Planes Saiz and Verónica Tejerina who won the 1,06% of the votes, while Política Obrera presented the journalist and militant Violeta Gil together with professor Ángel Tolaba and obtained support from the 2,01%. Finally, Salta para Todos (another force detached from the Frente de Todos) had its ballot headed by Lia Verónica Caliva together with Alegandro Gravanago and won the 2.9% of the votes.
