The movie “Veto” returns Elham Shaheen to the cinema after an absence of 3 years since she presented the movie “Curfew”, which was shown for the first time in the official competition of the 42nd session of the Cairo International Film Festival, and co-starred with Amina Khalil, Ahmed Magdy, Mahmoud Al-Laithi, and the Palestinian Kamel Al-Basha, and photography. Omar Abu Douma, costume design by Nahid Nasrallah, soundtrack by Tamer Karawan, and written and directed by Amir Ramses.
The film marks the second collaboration between Elham Shaheen and Rania Youssef in cinema after their participation in the film “Regatta” by director Mohamed Samy, which was shown in 2015. Amr Saad, Mahmoud Hamida, Fathi Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Malek, Walid Fawaz, Amir Shaheen, and Jalal co-starred in the film. Al-Zaki, Sandy Ali, Alaa Zeinhom, Maryam Saeed Saleh, and written by Muhammad Sami and Moataz Fateha.
It is noteworthy that Rania Youssef is waiting for the screening of more than one new film during the coming period, including “Ward Rayhan,” which she finished filming in Abu Dhabi and is co-starring alongside Ahmed Al-Fishawy, Rania Youssef, Nancy Salah, Amr Abdel Aziz, Nabil Issa, written and directed by Mohamed. Nabil, and the movie “Tarot”, in which she co-stars alongside Somaya El Khashab, Mai Selim, Mohamed Ezz, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun, and directed by Ibram Nashat.
