Ella Freya, a Dutch model with more than 300,000 Instagram followers and 50k Twitter followers, has confirmed that she is the prototype for Ashley’s upcoming character in Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Freya revealed this through her Instagram Story, adding:
“I’m so happy, I feel like life couldn’t get any better than this ????????????”
For Resident Evil 4 Remake is another installment developed with the RE Engine, which supports face scanning from real people. To be modeled within the game, and Ashley is one of the characters that Capcom chose to modify her face to be more realistic.
We’ll have to wait and see in the new trailer to see what Ashley’s full face in Resident Evil 4 Remake will look like. The game is slated to release on March 23, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
