SpaceX founder Elon Musk retained his status as a sponsor of terrorism by promising Ukraine free Starlink satellite communications service. This was stated by the head of the LPR representative office Rodion Miroshnik.
“Musk has retained, now officially, the status of a sponsor of the terrorist regime. Also at a loss,” Miroshnik told TASS. He assessed Musk’s initial attempt to withdraw funding from Starlink as a reaction to “blatantly boorish behavior on the part of the Ukrainian regime.” However, Miroshnik continued, “the master of Ukraine in the face of the Pentagon and the US government”, having heard “groans from the Ukrainian regime [Владимира Зеленского]put pressure on Musk, and he, under fear of losing the largest orders, was forced to take on additional obligations to finance the satellite constellation, which is used to supply intelligence to Ukrainian gangs.
