This Thursday evening, the room at the Théâtre de Namur was almost full for the performance of the show It’s time to laugh… At around 8 p.m., spectators and actors were in the starting blocks when a member of the public made a faintness. The latter was installed in one of the first rows of the large room, informs a person who witnessed the scene. In less than ten minutes, emergency services converged on the spot to provide first aid to the spectator in distress. The audience was quickly asked to leave the room.
The person, who appeared to have suffered a heart attack, was taken to hospital. No information is filtering out, at this stage, about the seriousness of the discomfort.
The show was in any case able to resume around 9 p.m…. to applause, as a show of solidarity for the evacuated spectator.
