These plans include the activation of crisis management protocols and response and recovery plans to the effects of the situation, their management from the unified control center for transport and roads, the equipment of a team of field of more than 2,500 employees, the provision of more than 1,000 mechanisms to deal with accumulations of rainwater and solicit the help of more than 60 contractors and suppliers to provide logistical support in machinery and materials, put implementing engineering solutions to reduce the consequences of rainwater accumulation, preparing a traffic management plan in coordination with the Dubai Police General Command and a plan to distribute logistical resources to the sites assembly and prepare more than 150 buses to support the movement of passengers through Dubai International Airport and Dubai Metro stations.

Preparations also include the creation of collection lakes with a capacity of more than 10 million cubic meters and the development of a proactive plan to divert traffic and close roads in case of emergency.
