Emirates News Agency – Crowning the winners of the Umm Al Quwain Beach Fishing and Rowing Boat Championships

Umm Al Quwain, March 13, WAM/ Umm Al Quwain Creek Beach witnessed the competitions of the Umm Al Quwain Fishing Championship on the beach, on the sidelines of the Umm Al Quwain Maritime Festival, organized by the Department of Tourism and Antiquities.
Haitham Sultan Al Ali, Director of the Tourism Department at the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, Chairman of the Festival Committee, honored the winning contestants in the tournament, the results of which resulted in the crowning of the contestant, Naseer Ambalato, in the first place, winning the Beach Fishing Championship Cup and the gold medal, and the contestant, Farid Hoshang Abdul Razzaq, came in the second place, achieving the silver medal. Luciano Santiago came in third place, winning the bronze medal.
In a related context, competitions were held last night (Umm Al Quwain Fishing Championship by rowing boats) in the framework of promoting community activities and initiatives and providing an ideal atmosphere for fishing lovers and enthusiasts from various segments of society by merging the two hobbies of rowing using rowing boats and fishing with hooks in one tournament, within the framework of Umm Al Quwain Maritime Festival, organized by the Department of Tourism and Antiquities.

Participants praised this championship and emphasized that it is in line with the enthusiastic sports atmosphere and the various activities and events organized by the festival, which contributes to the promotion and diversification of marine recreational activities for the public.
