SHARJAH, 2nd December, 2019 (WAM) — Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan bin Salem Al Qasimi affirmed that the Union Day is a national occasion dear to the hearts of all the people of the UAE, as it represents feelings of love and loyalty and an affirmation of belonging to our dear country and our wise leadership.
Sheikh Faisal bin Sultan Al Qasimi said – in his speech on the occasion of the 51st Union Day -: “On this day, we remember what the founding fathers, led by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul in peace,” made to establish a strong state with the energy, determination and capabilities of its people who stood together. One behind their wise leadership to reach what we are today in terms of progress, development and prosperity that rivals developed countries.
He added: “Today we are under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him,” and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” and their brothers, Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, members of the Supreme Council of the Union, rulers. UAE, we are following the march of the Union with strength and determination to protect its gains, preserve our security and stability, and complete what the founders started, so that the Union remains the stronghold of the homeland and a source of glory and pride for the people of the UAE.
