Fujairah, September 18/WAM/ The Media Office of the Government of Fujairah has issued a commemorative book on the occasion of the forty-eighth anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, assuming the reins of government in the emirate, entitled “Biography and Journey”.
The book, which coincided with this anniversary, included a number of new photos that chronicle the various activities, participations and meetings that brought His Highness together with a number of Arab, regional and international events.
The book was presented by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, with a speech in which he affirmed the great achievement that was made for Fujairah during the era of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and the international presence that was achieved for the emirate across various fields, praising the wisdom of His Highness and his insightful future vision.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah said: “Today, the Emirates celebrate the forty-eighth anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi’s accession to the reins of government in Fujairah, a celebration worthy of those who laid the roots of strength, justice and determination in this precious spot of our majestic emirates, where he built and leaned higher. On absolute belief in development and change, and on the people’s love and follow-up behind his wise leadership, and with them and with them, His Highness walked to reach Fujairah to safety.”
Commenting on the beginnings stage, His Highness added: “The bet was difficult in light of modest capabilities, and the horizon was a field and a bet on continuity, and the most difficult question was where to start…? He was aware that this is the real bet on development and prosperity. The nations that have succeeded throughout history are those that have bet on the success and help of their citizens. Therefore, His Highness put the youth in mind in the battle of construction, changing the face of the emirate and activating its Arab and international role, so that Fujairah became the attractive place for small and large projects and a haven. It is safe for the dreams of investors and capitals, and therefore the eighteenth of September every year will be an extraordinary day in the march of the state and the singing emirate, which has expanded and gained strength and strength and increased beauty thanks to the wisdom of His Highness and his insightful vision in reading Arab and international data.
The book includes pictures of the periodic meetings that brought together His Highness the Ruler of Fujairah with the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, the meetings of the Supreme Council of the Union and the national decisions issued by these meetings, in addition to following up on His Highness’s foreign trips and representing the UAE in a number of international meetings and meetings and his meetings with the masses of citizens In various parts of the Emirate and his field tours, through which he inspected the implementation of various economic and urban projects.
