Sharjah, October 29 / WAM / The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Amazon UAE, under which a new logistics center will be leased to Amazon, as part of its keenness to enhance and accelerate delivery services to customers in the Northern Emirates.
The concluded agreement comes in line with the vision of the Hamriyah Free Zone, which aims to enhance growth and economic innovation in the region, and reflects Amazon’s commitment and its continuous endeavor to strengthen its presence throughout the country.
Once operational, the new center will provide seamless delivery services throughout the Northern Emirates, benefiting from the combination of factors represented by the strategic location and advanced infrastructure that characterize the Hamriyah Free Zone, and Amazon’s pioneering technical and operational expertise, which extends for more than 20 years around the world, which will reflect positively. To increase the level of comfort and reliability and improve the customer experience in online purchases.
Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority, expressed his happiness with this cooperation, stressing that the Hamriyah Free Zone welcomes the cooperation agreement with Amazon, which embodies the authority’s firm commitment and keenness to build an ideal economic environment that enhances the opportunities for growth and development of companies at the local and international levels, in addition to To the added value that the Authority provides to investors and specialized international companies, which makes the Emirate of Sharjah the most prominent destination for establishing businesses and expanding towards promising markets.
