ABU DHABI, 8th July / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, expressed his sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the friendly Japanese government and people on the death of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and his condolences and solidarity with the family of the late in their affliction.
His Highness said in a statement, the text of which follows: / We received with great sadness the news of the death of our friend Shinzo Abe, the former Japanese Prime Minister, following the treacherous attack that targeted his life.
We extend our sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the friendly Japanese people and the honorable family of the late late.. We express our solidarity with them in these difficult circumstances.
Shinzo Abe was a loyal friend of the UAE. He played an active role in consolidating the relations of the two countries, which witnessed unprecedented development and prosperity at all levels. The late also worked to strengthen his country’s role in supporting peace and stability at the regional and global levels.
While we condemn this treacherous attack that claimed his life.. we denounce all forms of violence and its forms.. and we affirm that we in the UAE will not forget his appreciated sincere efforts in strengthening friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and their peoples/.
