Emirates News Agency – Japanese stocks end the week lower

Tokyo, February 17 / WAM / Japanese stock indices fell at the end of the day’s trading, and the broader Topix index fell from its highest level since last November, which was recorded in the previous session.
The Nikkei index on the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed down by 0.66%, equivalent to 183.3 points, to close at 27513.13 points.
The broader Topix index fell by 0.46%, equivalent to 9.16 points, to close at 1991.93 points.
