“The lowest abortion rates are in countries that have exactly that,” said LA Zeliha Arslan (Greens). FP-LA Gudrun Kofler criticized the Greens for bringing this issue to the state parliament at a time of inflation and before Christmas. In principle, however, the Blues are on board, but the abortion offer should not be free of charge. “The Greens have avoided it for years, now they suddenly want to be advocates,” criticized SP club chairwoman Elisabeth Fleischanderl – and received long applause from almost all factions.
