The National Football League (NFL) is dedicated to helping the growth of women’s flag football around the world. In support of these efforts, the NFL is proud to support the RCX Sports Foundation in presenting the International Women’s Flag Football Scholarship Program, which — beginning in 2024 — aims to empower women worldwide by providing four international flag football scholarships -Offers female players attending a college or university in the United States that offers women’s flag football as a varsity sport. With these scholarships, the RCX Sports Foundation aims to encourage women to pursue their passion for flag football while enhancing their education.

The grants are made possible in part by the RCX Sports Foundation, which aims to develop, promote and implement diversity and inclusion in youth sports as the non-profit arm of RCX Sports. The foundation is focused on expanding youth sports opportunities so all children can play sports in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

Flag football is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is played by over 20 million people in more than 100 countries on every continent. It’s the most inclusive and accessible form of football played by people of all ages and genders, with female athletes being one of the fastest growing sports.
