Active in the market since 2016, when it took over the Nokia brand after years of inoperation thanks to negotiating the use of the brand with Microsoft, HMD Global has been showing, since the end of last year, that it can start using its brand in launches.

Now, a few months after checking this approval and the rumor that the brand could change its partner in the Brazilian market, we have a relevant change that may indicate that HMD Global intends to make its name the main brand of its operation: the change of user on X, ex-Twitter.
Still called Nokia Mobile, pages around the world with emphasis on @NokiaMobile and @NokiamobileIN (the global and Indian pages respectively) started to adopt the HMD for their users, in these two cases, they were changed to @HMDglobal and @hmd_in.
In addition to the change in users on There, it is mentioned that the site will be the home of HMD devices, classic Nokia devices and products from new partners.
