“Engineer? It for me! » 2023: to encourage the vocations of girls and boys

Organized this Thursday, January 19 by the association Women Engineers, “Engineer.e? It for me! » is a virtual and interactive event dedicated to middle and high school students and students. This career forum allows young people to learn about the rest of their career with professionals in the scientific and engineering professions.

The 2022 edition was a success, with 2,500 middle and high school students, as well as more than 100 speakers. “Engineer? It for me! returns in 2023, on Thursday, January 19. From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., presentations are addressed to middle and high school students. And from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., for students and parents. The association Women Engineers is thus renewing its way of encouraging young girls to engage in scientific careers and engineering professions.

To be able to project oneself into sectors of activity and trades

The event is hosted on the Arts et Métiers virtual reality platform. Visitors connected to this forum are represented by their avatar which they move to the different spaces of the forum:
– conferences on the food of tomorrow, the cities of the future or mobility,
– thematic presentations that cover industry, digital, or cybersecurity,
– a workshop to discover the industry,
– an escape game, a quiz.
