Rizk added: We have been doing voluntary work since our election without any compensation, and this was directed to the Engineers Welfare Fund. I do not belong to any political party or faction, and I was elected to benefit from some experiences, especially in light of my PhD studies in Britain.

The names of the members included: Secretary-General Yousry El-Deeb, Secretary-General Musaed Ahmed Sabry, Treasurer Muhammad Nasser, Assistant Treasurer Moataz Barakat, Senior Undersecretary of the Syndicate Hossam Rizk, Undersecretary of the Syndicate Ihab Khader.

For his part, Major General Muhammad Nasser, treasurer of the Engineers Syndicate, said that the Minister of Transport and Irrigation led a negotiating attempt during the last period to resolve the crisis within the union and held sessions with the President of the Syndicate, and offered reconciliation between the members of the office and the Syndicate and to waive the communications, but the General Syndicate stuck to his position. Refusing to waive communications in compliance with the right of the General Assembly.

The two ministers are scheduled to announce today the results of their efforts to resolve the crisis within the union. As for the nature of the solution they reached between the two parties, it is not known yet and is scheduled to be presented at the press conference.
