Enhancing Graduate Supervision: Training Activities to Improve Your Skills

Graduate supervision is part of the lives of the vast majority of faculty members. However, research directors often face difficulties that go far beyond the experiences they themselves have had or for which they have been trained. The good news is that there is a pedagogy of supervision and that we can learn to supervise better. Thus, the Assistant Vice-Rectorate for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (ESP) and the Center for University Pedagogy (CPU) of the University of Montreal invite you to three training activities during the week devoted to graduate supervision , from April 8 to 12.

We asked a few questions to Élaine Charette, educational advisor for graduate cycle supervision at the CPU, and Daniel Lévesque, director and associate vice-rector of ESP.
