Modders continue to dissect Starfield, trying to bring Bethesda’s game into proper shape and improve the user experienceYeti (RedxYeti) presented the Vanilla Scripts Optimized mod for Starfield. The developer is trying to optimize various scripts in the Bethesda game. The authors of Starfield use the Papyrus scripting language. The system is designed in such a way that one single slow script causes a snowball effect, i.e. others slow down and, as a result, the entire game. Vanilla Scripts Optimized does not perform a miracle, however, already now, due to the optimization of scripts in Starfield, you can see an increase of 3 FPS or even 5-10 FPS in some locations. While the project is at an early stage: the community is getting acquainted with the implementation of scripts (the mod currently covers 7 functions), more effective solutions for optimizing Starfield may be offered in the future.
