Enko Education is recruiting 100 teachers for September 2023

The African school group Enko Education has announced the opening of a teacher recruitment campaign from March 9, 2023. This campaign aims to recruit 100 teachers to join one of the 7 Enko Education schools in West Africa and Centrale for September 2023. This recruitment program, called GEM (Germinating Educational Masters) is unique in its kind and drastically reduces recruitment time for schools.

In order to support the growth of the group (Enko Education recently announced the acquisition of Kalanso and Kodonso in Bamako, Mali), Enko Education announced the launch of a new teacher recruitment campaign. The group creates a pool of exceptional teachers to save schools time and prevent them from making potential recruitment mistakes.

Africa currently needs 6 million more teachers to cover the growing number of school-aged children, and this figure is expected to rise to 15 million in the next few years. The continent has no shortage of talented individuals and committed teachers, but recruiting teachers can be extremely time-consuming for school leaders. GEM seeks to make this process easy and short for schools, providing them with a pool of motivated and talented individuals.

The process is designed to attract educators who are committed to helping African students achieve academic excellence. “Applications will close on March 30. They are open to candidates from all over Africa who wish to work in one of Enko Education’s countries of operation. Shortlisted individuals will undergo a five-step recruitment process, with the aim of developing a holistic view of the candidates and their ability to adapt to an academic environment and expectations different from those to which they are accustomed. This process also assesses the capacity of teachers to educate African “Global Citizens”, explains Aude Perrin, Chief People Officer of Enko Education.

Enko Education is committed to providing its teachers with a supportive and dynamic work environment, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. The network’s focus on innovation and excellence makes it an ideal destination for educators who want to have a positive impact on the future of education in Africa.

People who are passionate about education and willing to learn international learning methods are invited to apply, regardless of their background and level of experience. Teachers who would be selected as part of the process but who would not be hired by an Enko school in 2023 will be retained for future recruitments according to the needs of the schools.

“Our goal is to attract the continent’s most passionate educators, who share our commitment to providing a world-class education to students across the continent. We believe that this recruitment program will help us achieve this goal and allow more and more young Africans to join prestigious higher education institutions,” said Eric Pignot, Founder and CEO of Enko Education. The group is known for providing quality education to African students. The network of schools is currently in 11 cities in 9 African countries, providing affordable and quality education to 5,000 young people, and plans to expand in the coming years. To support this growth, Enko Education seeks to recruit high-level teachers who are passionate about teaching and who care about the success of their students.
