"ENOC Launches New Generation of Lightweight Composite Gas Cylinders in Dubai"

Emirates Gas Company, a subsidiary of the “ENOC” group, announced the launch of the new generation of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders installed in selected areas in the Emirate of Dubai, as part of “ENOC’s” continuous endeavor to provide the latest technologies and innovations in the domestic gas sector to its customers.

And ENOC stated in a statement today that the new gas cylinders, which will be available first in Zabeel, Nad Al Sheba, Jumeirah, Al Qudra and Arabian Ranches, are made of lightweight composite materials, and feature a semi-transparent structure that allows consumers to notice the level of gas in them and alert them to the need to refill. Noting that the new cylinders are available exclusively from authorized distributors.
Saif Hamid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, said, “Our launch of the new generation of composite gas cylinders in Dubai confirms our commitment to the high standards of environment, health and safety in the UAE, as the new cylinders are made of advanced composite materials to make them corrosion-resistant, in addition to Its light weight makes it a safe choice for kitchens, in addition to its longer life.”
He added that «Emirates Gas» seeks to expand the scope of distribution of these cylinders to the neighborhoods of Al Barsha, Al Furjan, Jebel Ali, Sports City, Al Murooj, Springs, Al Nakhla, and others, explaining that the company will provide the new cylinders in two sizes of 11 and 16 kilograms.
As part of its efforts to eliminate the phenomenon of unauthorized distributors, Emirates Gas called on customers to purchase cylinders from authorized distributors only, and to request a value-added tax invoice upon purchase, stressing that authorized distributors adhere to strict safety standards in dealing with gas cylinders, including checking the cylinder. Tested and validated before each filling.
