The Executive Director of Medical Affairs at the Irada and Mental Health Complex in Dammam, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Shamrani, revealed the number of drug addicts who have entered the complex’s program since the beginning of the campaign.
Al-Shamrani announced, during televised statements on the “120” program on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, that 5,227 addicts have entered the program since the start of the campaign.
He pointed out that the Irada and Mental Health Complex in Dammam monitored an increase in the number of those seeking treatment by about 15% in the second quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter of the same year.
And the Executive Director of Medical Affairs indicated that the numbers of recoveries are almost equal to the numbers of those who entered the program, indicating that most of those who complete the program continue to recover.
