FACING ISRAELI CONTEMPT of UN Security Council Resolutions 242, 194, 338, etc., relating to the violation of the international status of the Holy City of Jerusalem and the illegal occupation of the territories of the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem, it is high time for the international community to show greater firmness, to force the Jewish state to a minimum of diplomatic decency, namely: to stop trampling on these vital consensual resolutions of the United Nations. Which substantially recognize the Palestinian People’s RIGHT TO SELF-DETERMINATION!

IMPOSING A CEASEFIRE to put a decisive end to the bloodshed, which is painfully impacting both communities, would be the PRIORITY MILESTONE. And that the Palestinian camp, militarily less fortunate, should have no other option than to comply. If only to facilitate the ESSENTIAL exchanges of POLITICAL DETAINEES, to which the belligerents will gladly agree.
THIS WOULD do justice to the memory of these thousands of martyrs valiantly fallen in the West Bank, in Shabra and Shatila, in Al Aqsa and in the Gaza Strip, during the seven decades of deadly occupation by the Israeli Army. These martyrs should not have fallen “for nothing” in the land of their ancestors, where the Zionist occupation army continues, insidiously, to transform these indigenous populations into true “foreigners at home”!
