EU Climate Pact meets WeFair – panel discussion at Austria’s largest sustainability trade fair

Get inspiration for your everyday climate!

Vienna (OTS) – Sustainability in practice – this will be discussed in a panel discussion by the European Climate Pact at WeFair on Saturday, April 13th at 3:30 p.m. On the podium, Alica Schönland (mobility), Miroslav Polzer (youth work), Gregor Wimmer (education) and Christina Huber (energy) will report on their practical experiences and talk regarding what they themselves are doing for a sustainable Europe. Afterwards, Jan Steinhauser from Terragami will be there with his video game “Climate Survivors”, which aims to raise more awareness of climate issues.

In Austria, the Climate Alliance coordinates the European Climate Pact, which was initiated by the European Commission. It offers an EU-wide platform for people who are passionate regarding the climate and achieving the EU goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050.
