EVE Online will get integration with Excel – fans are delighted

EVE Online often referred to as a “table simulator”. Many hardcore players in EVE do use spreadsheets to keep track of various data regarding their in-game businesses, including profits, fleet damage, potential markets, and more. Now CCP Games has decided to meet gamers and announced official support for Microsoft Excel.

During the EVE Fanfest, the studio revealed that they had contacted Microsoft and that together the companies agreed to develop an extension that would take data from MMOs and transfer them directly to Excel. Fans received the news with enthusiasm.

CCP showed an early prototype of the tool and noted that more details will be released later this year.

In addition, the fanfest announced new story arcs, help in choosing a class for beginners, visual upgrades, and a client in Spanish.
