“Everything will light up once more at the push of a button,” announces Mayor Bernhard Zwielehner, but does not want to reveal any details regarding the new Christmas lights in Ried. Just this much: “There will be focal points on the squares, including the church square with the folklore house.” The previous fairy lights that were strung across the main square will no longer exist. LED lamps are intended to keep lighting more energy efficient.
