According to an insider Jeff Grubba, Ubisoft Postponed Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to FY 2023-2024so that the authors have enough time to develop the gameplay component — the current state of the gameplay leaves much to be desired, the sources say. Grubb noted that the gameplay is “in a sad state”.
What is not a problem is the graphics — Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is called a very beautiful game.
Recently Ubisoft canceled multiple games. The head of the company, Yves Guillemot, promised investors to better follow the projects being developed and not spend money on unpromising titles.
Until recently, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was scheduled to release in 2022, around the same time as James Cameron’s Avatar sequel..
