EWC Top Rider Gino Rey’s Family Begins Seeking Rehabilitation Funding – Webike Plus

The family of Gino Rey, who was seriously injured during practice for the 43rd Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, the 3rd round of the FIM Endurance World Championship 2022 season, is currently undergoing rehabilitation. has started recruiting financial support for Zino players.

A post by Zino’s family said: “Gino suffered a life-altering injury following crashing into the crash barrier at the Suzuka race.”

“Right following the fall, Jino fainted and fell into a coma, so he was immediately transported to Mie Prefectural General Medical Center by ambulance helicopter, but the doctor in charge told his family that his life was in danger. A medical team at the Mie Prefectural General Medical Center found severe swelling and bleeding in Jino’s brain, and kept him in a coma to prevent further brain swelling and reduce his rising body temperature. For Jino, the next 48 hours were a crucial time that might make the difference between life and death.”
