Andrew and Tristan Tate and two other Romanian women are said to have been part of an organized criminal gang. Tate is arrested on suspicion of rape and human trafficking, among other things.
He himself filed an appeal against his detention and asks for his immediate release. His possessions – including 11 very expensive cars – should also be returned, at least according to the former kickboxer’s lawyer.
Six possible victims have been identified so far. Tate and co are suspected of forcing these women to star in pornographic films. They allegedly first seduced the women and even said they wanted to marry them, only to force them into sex work afterwards. The images were then distributed online for a fee. One of the suspects is also said to have raped a woman twice in March 2022.
