The Acquisition Committee has put up for sale for the benefit of the Belgian State the fort “VI 4” of the fortified position of Liège and located at nord of the Temple farm, at a place called “Derrière le Temple”, for an amount of €5,000. He asked the City of Visé if it was interested in this purchase but it seems not.
This small fort is located within the perimeter classified because of its aesthetic and historical value “Together formed by the chapel of Lorette, the Ferme du Temple and the surroundings of Visé”.
If the College of the City of Visé confirms its lack of interest in this bunker, a sale to the highest bidder will be quickly organized by the Acquisition Committee and the SPF Finances.
A second bunker to the south
The second bunker that is for sale is a World War II bunker at the corner of rue Porte de Lorette and route de Dalhem, in the sud de la Ferme du Temple. It has four bedrooms and its current owner is selling it for 28,000 euros. He indicates that he acquired it from the Belgian army on April 2, 2019 via a public sale. He has a title deed that he can give to the new buyer and that this bunker is located on agricultural land, in the middle of the meadows.
