The chassis of the crossover is so coolly tuned that one can only guess: they did it by accident or did engineer Klaus Schmid, who previously worked in the BMW M division, out of habit did his job according to the standards of Bavarian sports cars. Because the phenomenal precision, stability and cleanliness of steering feedback is overkill for this class of car. But be that as it may, we have what we have: in the high-speed links of the Karelian roads, the Exeed TXL behaves better than many passenger models. Not to mention crossovers, and especially crossovers of mass brands.
And even when the asphalt is replaced by a grader, on which the Russian Rally Championship and Cup are held in winter, the Exeed TXL chassis does not give up. It is difficult to break through the suspension before the shock absorbers close, and it is almost impossible to unbalance the car before losing control – we raced, as if completely forgetting that this was not a rallycar with a racing suspension, but an ordinary universal SUV.
