Experimental start to the second phase of the Mecca Bus Project

The second phase of the Mecca-Mecca bus project has begun on a trial basis. During the pilot phase, the buses will be available for free.

The project will have a total of 425 bus stops and four major bus stations. New bus services have been launched connecting Haram, Al Haramin Railway Station, Umm al-Qura University and Al-Buhirat area.

In the first phase of the Mecca bus project, pilot services were started connecting the Haramain railway station in the Al Razeefah district with the Jabal Umar bus station near the Holy Haram.
