Her domain is gastronomy. At Café Suisse, her restaurant in the heart of Bex, Marie Robert leaves room for her imagination to create her dishes and the decor of her establishment, which changes every season. But what interests us is not her cooking, it’s the relationship she has with the drink that accompanies her dishes: wine. The chef cuts us off immediately: “I will do my best, but this is the domain of my partner Arnaud Gorse. We work in pairs and he guides me when it comes to wines.” And this pair goes even further, since Marie Robert assures that when it comes to wines, her head sommelier knows her better than she knows herself.
