It all started several months ago. Fashion designer Arturo Obegero was asked by Beyoncé’s teams to make several dresses. Each piece required more than 300 hours of work.
The American superstar paid tribute to Calais-Caudry lace during his last concert. A unique goldsmith’s work from the 19th century, still produced in certain workshops. Laurent, interviewed in the video at the top of this article, has been working with lace for 27 years and he ensures the meticulous production of the lace.
