F1: Lewis Hamilton who posted a childhood photo of Yuki Tsunoda “Are you really 22 years old?”[F1-Gate.com]

Lewis Hamilton posted a photo of Yuki Tsunoda when he was a child in the photo posted after the F1 Mexico GP. Asked why he posted the photo in his experience as a journalist, he was surprised at Yuki Tsunoda’s age.

Lewis Hamilton, who made his Formula 1 debut with McLaren in 2007, has become an inspiration to the next generation of drivers, winning seven Formula 1 World Championships in a 15-year F1 career. Yuki Tsunoda was also one of the boys who was inspired by Hamilton.

Yuki Tsunoda watched the race where the F1 Japan GP was held at Fuji Speedway for the first time in 40 years, and took a commemorative photo in front of McLaren’s F1 machine (actually with the car number of teammate Fernando Alonso). It was the photo you posted.

“I don’t remember much,” said Lewis Hamilton, who attended the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix press conference with Yuki Tsunoda on Thursday.

“I thought it was a really interesting picture.”

“Just sitting here, here are the three oldest drivers, and you’re the youngest here. How old are you?” asked Yuki Tsunoda.

When Yuki Tsunoda replied, “22,” he was surprised, “Are you really 22?”

Yuki Tsunoda said, “I don’t know, but sometimes I have my doubts.”

Lewis Hamilton: ‘It’s good to have a good fake ID.

“It was an interesting picture to think about how time moves. We’ve been here for a long time.”
