Fabian Le Castel, one of the emblematic figures of the show “Le Grand Cactus”, broadcast on Thursday evenings on RTBF, is leaving the program. The Mouscronnois is taking a new turn in his career. The Belgian impersonator with sarcastic and satirical humor now wishes to devote himself to other projects.
“I’m not leaving angry but I haven’t really found my place for some time. When I was absent in the Grand Cactus, an imitator replaced me and when I came back, I found my place even less.”
Since 2015, Fabian Le Castel has participated in Grand Cactus, this humorous show which revisits Belgian and international news. But not only that… you might also hear it in the morning show of Vivacité, on 8/9, several times a week.
“New projects are coming”
It must be said that the comedian has no time to be bored since the end of his collaboration with RTBF since in October 2022, Fabian Lecastel opened his café-show, “Le Hurlu Comedy Club” in Mouscron in order to allow young talents and theater routines to perform on an intimate stage. By leaving RTBF, Fabian Le Castel will invest more in more personal projects. “I am going to devote myself to the stage and the café-theatre. I will continue my Comedy Club but also my shows. I also have a project for a comedy club between Tournai and Ath. And I am preparing the show of the “4 without voices”, the quartet of international imitators for 2025”.
