In the fall of 2022, filming of “Der Pass” took place in the otherwise rather tranquil Faistenau. The Strubklammstraße and dam wall provided a perfect backdrop for the third and final season of the multiple award-winning crime series. Among other things, the adventurous rock tunnel that connects the community of Faistenau with Ebenau was staged. The German main protagonist Julia Jentsch and the Austrian shooting star Felix Kammerer were also on site for the recording.

In Faistenau, following the crime series “4 Women and 1 Death”, they were happy to once once more act as the setting for an international TV series. The eight episodes of the third and final season of “Der Pass” have been broadcast on Sky One since May 4, 2023, or the episodes can also be viewed on demand on the WOW streaming service and via Sky Q.

About the content: After Ellie Stocker (Julia Jentsch) and Gedeon Winter (Nicholas Ofczarek) became bitter opponents at the end of the second season, events bring them together one last time. A series of mysterious murders on both sides of the border between Germany and Austria rocks the region. The case pushes Ellie and Gedeon to their limits and confronts them with their own story. The third season of “The Passport” puts the protagonists in their search for justice before a final choice between revenge and forgiveness.
