Riyadh: Police have arrested a Yemeni national for issuing a fake Hajj permit. The Riyadh Regional Police Research and Investigation Unit said he had been making and selling fake Hajj permits to people who wanted to make the pilgrimage this year. Police posted a video of a raid on a fake Hajj permit site on Twitter. According to the Directorate General of Passports (Jawzat), deportation from Saudi Arabia is a punishment for foreigners caught trying to perform Hajj without a permit.
