The fall Indra Bekti being in the bathroom shocked and saddened family and friends, and this was no exception Indy Barends. When Indra Bekti regained consciousness from the effects of the postoperative anesthetic, surprisingly he was immediately able to joke with his partner.
Previously, Indy Barends had said that Indra Bekti was able to ask him to joke around even when he was still slumped. After that he began to feel comfortable interacting and responding to the people around him.
This made Indra Bekti’s younger brother, Cipta, feel touched. As is known, the relationship between Indy Barends and Indra Bekti is indeed very close to each other. What amazed Cipta was the quick response from his brother after the operation.
“I saw that I was really touched, I didn’t expect it, I didn’t expect that he would be conscious and his body’s reaction would be that fast. Because usually what I know is that people who have finished post-surgery wake up, the reaction is just like that,” said Cipta, met at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Friday (30/12/2022).
“But this can be a joke, grabbing Indy’s hair all the time. Even trying to raise his head, it hurts us to see him,” Cipta added.
Cipta also admitted that Indra was trying to cover up his pain. Even Indra’s motivation to recover was enormous.
“But that’s possible to see, Indra’s motivation is really big, really high to be able to recover quickly, then Indra, yes Indra. He doesn’t want to show that I’m sick and I’m fine,” said Cipta.
Previously, Indy Barends told about his meeting with Indra Bekti after surgery. He was happy to be allowed into the room where Indra Bekti was sleeping.
“Earlier I was let in, I was really happy, meaning standing in the room where he sleeps,” said Indy Barends.
“I call eh Bekti, I can’t hold back my emotions when I see him. Then he looks, ‘Hi J-Lo’, he calls me J-Lo. He uses ‘Ng’ for a long time. So, Jelong. Outside he hasn’t fully recovered, at least, very happy that I was able to see him. At least there was a pleasant reaction today,” said Indy Barends.
