First they had no luck, and then bad luck came along…
Jürgen Klopp (55) and Liverpool FC win their last game of 2022 2-1 against Leicester. The “Reds” thus reduce the gap to the top 4 to just two points after the 2019 Champions League winners won the last four league games.

Back into your own goal. The Belgian, who only joined Leicester in the summer, tries to clear a post rebound in front of the onrushing Mohamed Salah (30), but scores again in his own box.
Curious: At that time, Liverpool had only shot once at the opposing goal. Darwin Núñez (23) hit the ball against the post, from where Faes then “cleared” it into his own goal.
