“Home Stars” is back. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the program, personalities have once again invited themselves to their fans for more or less successful surprises.
2022 is the year of nostalgia. Twenty years ago, the first Harry Potter film came out. The first Loft Story reality TV landed in France, and big names in song invited themselves to their fans in “Home Star”. A cult show presented by Flavie Flament on TF1 which marked a whole generation. On the occasion of this anniversary, the channel is back with artists ready to surprise their admirers. If at the time, Lorie and Jenifer were THE stars of the program, this year it was the rapper Soprano who opened the ball by inviting himself to young Tony… who quickly discovered the deception.
While Soprano has to play the technicians of a karaoke, his voice and his accent betray him during a call made to Tony’s mother for said expected repair. Very quickly, the 15-year-old recognizes the performer of the titles “My precious” and “Near the stars”. “It’s Soprano. My mother’s life, I recognized her voice,” he told his family. Very quickly, the rapper arrives at the high school student who is no less surprised. “I heard his cash voice. I heard you and I thought it was your voice. Nice try. But it’s a dream come true,” explains the high school student. Together, they sing under the moved eyes of Tony’s relatives who are struggling to contain their tears. The evening continues in song and on the playstation for a game of Fifa. As tradition dictates, Soprano discovers Tony’s room, his posters and the flag of the Olympique de Marseille club. “I’m still shocked. It’s crazy. There, my happiness bar, it’s full, full, full!”, Launches the high school student.
Despite Soprano’s failed surprise, internet users are moved
Happy to have been the first to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Stars at home”, Soprano confided: “It’s a beautiful story and suddenly, it will remain engraved there (his heart, editor’s note). C is a beautiful star that I borrow from my memories and that I put in the space that there is here”. Despite the emotion of the Marseille singer, Internet users regretted that the surprise fell into the water.

Throughout the evening, a wind of nostalgia blew on Twitter with Internet users happy and moved to find theshow that made the best hours of TF1.
